Welcome to PTYP Events! When you place an order / work with us, you're agreeing to the following terms.
We like to keep things fun and fabulous - but we’ve still got to lay down the (glittery) ground rules to keep everything smooth and stress-free.

1. Orders & Payments

  • Your booking is confirmed once a 50% deposit is received. If your event is 7 days or less away, full payment is needed upfront to secure your order/booking.

  • Our prices may do a little shuffle from time to time - what’s shown on the website is current but subject to change without notice.

  • We accept direct deposit, Visa, debit, and credit cards payments.

2. Allergies & Dietary Info

  • Our cakes and treats may contain / or come into contact with, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, nuts, and/or soy. If you're sharing the goodies, it’s your responsibility to pass on any allergy info to keep everyone safe. We’re always happy to cater for allergies where possible, be sure to let us know before we start baking the magic!

3. Delivery & Pickup

  • We deliver the party between 9 AM and 4 PM, 7 days a week.

  • Please make sure someone is home or at the venue to receive delivery and/or let our party installation extraordinaires in.
    If not, we’ll have to take everything back with us, and a $30 redelivery fee will apply, no matter how close you are to Engadine.

  • We will give you a heads-up call about 30 mins to an hour before we arrive—so you're ready to party!

4. Decorations & Safety

  • Some of our creations (especially cakes) may contain non-edible elements like dowels, wires, or support sticks to hold their shape.

  • Please remove all non-edible items before serving. PTYP Events is not responsible for injuries or accidents caused by ingestion of these items.

5. Design & Product Variations

  • While we aim to match your chosen inspo as closely as possible, slight variations may occur due to the availability of certain ingredients and/or decorations.

  • Fresh flowers, toppers, and perishable details may differ slightly depending on what's in season, but we promise it’ll still be party-perfect.

6. Aftercare

  • Once your goodies or décor have been picked up / delivered, it’s up to you to care for them properly.

  • Keep your cake cool, away from direct sunlight, and level while transporting and storing. For the best care tips on your specific cake, please see our FAQs page

7. Photos & Marketing

  • We love documenting our work and may take photos of your event setup or order.

  • We might snap some photos of your order to show off our party magic on our social media, website, or other marketing.
    If you’d rather we don’t take or use photos of your event, just let us know in writing via email.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Online Orders: If you cancel at least 72hrs /3 days before your pickup or delivery, you’ll receive a 50% refund.

  • Custom Orders: For custom events or cakes, cancellations must be made at least 10 days before the event to receive a refund on your deposit.

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations outside of these timeframes are non-refundable, as we’ve likely already begun creating your one-of-a-kind pieces.

9. Changes to Orders

  • Let us know ASAP and we will do our best to make it happen, additional fees may apply.

  • We may not be able to accommodate changes close to the event date, especially for custom designs and/or décor.
